About Bitrate

Why I started Bitrate:

I started Bitrate because I saw the same frustrations with company systems again and again. Clunky software, manual data entry, and systems that just don't talk to each other.

But even in the best cases when a business has easy-to-use software, a lot of the time it's still a bit... dumb.

I've always had a bit of a "knack" when it comes to tech and systems thinking. So I set out on a mission to help businesses to make smarter, more connected systems.

My Background:

I didn't start out in tech. I joined the Australian Army straight out of school and deployed multiple times on Operations both overseas and domestically.

I hold a degree in Financial Economics & Finance from UNSW and spent many years working in wholesale import/distribution companies improving their... you guessed it, business systems!

Proudly Based in Wanaka

I've been living in Wanaka for nearly 10 years and am passionate about helping local businesses improve their tech. I'm keen to see Wanaka become a hub for technology innovation and expertise.

I also volunteer with Wanaka Search & Rescue, where I coordinate their IT, assist in their Incident Management Team and lead their newly created Drone Team. It's a privilege to serve the community in times of need and to be part of such a professional organisation.
